junkyards for tj parts around springfield/nixa

I need some parts and possibly axle...d44 bolt up wink wink

any junkyard places?

Most yards get $750+ for a TJ 44 rear (only bolt in).  This is no locker and at best 3.73/4.10 gears. 

However you can often find built take outs someone has assemble for 1K or more on pirate.

I really want a better axle I am just waiting to hear a snap from the d35 due to all the weight and 3.73 gears... its gonna suck

I hope they can tow me out

Until you start pushing it harder you'll be ok.  It takes fatigue or a hop to break them.

I wheeled 33"s on a d35 open with 3.07's for two years and it never broke. Treat it like a d35 not a d60.

Nothing around here, you can go to clements in branson.... they mainly have jeep stuff.... but they arent the cheapest.

this question has been asked many times over. There use to be a thread that listed all the junkyards and their contact info. Maybe the mods can find that and sticky it.  ??

stutesman auto salvage sometimes has jeeps sitting around, but know that those parts go fast, they are located on hwy 65 south of ozark.

I've been looking around this week for some stuff, they've got a ton of Cherokee's but I have yet to find one wrangler in a yard in town.

the torx bolts for the windshield hinges appear to be undamaged as well.  :P
