Lift srings and coil spacer? Brake lines?
« on: 01/18/10 - 03:31PM »
I have most of my Lift parts for my ZJ, I gathered Rusty's 3' front and rear springs, quick disconnects, sway bar drop and pay day I'm after shocks and a HD rear track bar and maybe the spacers. I was wondering if I did the Rusty's 2' coils spring spacer if that would be a bad idea along with the lift coil springs? like would it slip off or pop out or something. And other thing that I am not sure of is I am sure my stock brake lines will be OK with the 3in lift, but if i put the spacer on there it will make it around 5", will the brake lines be long enough to handle that? And with the lift, should I try to find longer bumpstops?

You should be able to relocate your brake lines at the spot in the line where it goes from hard to soft line. Just lower the spot on the frame rail where it bolts on. And yes, you will want taller bump stops.

All of the above, watch rear spacers on zj not much retains rear coils during droop.

What is droop? when the rear end extends out all the way?
