Testing the waters
« on: 07/30/06 - 01:43PM »
Hi, hello and how the heck are ya?

It's me again, the guy with the big ugly Full Size truck from down the Harrison way.  Looks like your having another run up/down here again this fall and we shall attempt to be there again this year to put more "racing stripes" down the side (especially now that I have my carb problem figured out).

I have an '83 GN 3.8 (turbo) that I am testing the waters for to see if there is any interest in this motor. I had been keeping it in case the 225 in my boat died until I finally got around to asking if I could bolt the boat heads to the block and found out it won't. I don't want a turbo boat and now I see no reason to keep the motor. :dunno:

It is mostly complete including the big friggen' Holley sitting on top and the only thing I notice missing is the non-turbo side exhaust manifold.

If anyone is interested pop a PM or send an email and I'll get pics and numbers off the motor for you.  It's pretty clean, but I cannot tell how many miles are on it.

Mods if this should be posted in the for sale section, feel free to move it...I just wanted it to be seen and see if I should just toss the motor to the recycler.

Seymour...so are the trails big enough for an 18' long truck or do I gotta knock down trees again to make a trail?

There are some decently wide trails you can take a truck down.

I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...

OH yes, you wouldn't have any trouble in Syemour at all. NICE trails down there for you.
