The small ones like randy torbits are from a small 4wd tractor. The ones larry runs are from a giant airplane tugger.  THey are made by the ZF corporation which is the same company that makes bigfoots axle that he used to jump the big jet.

Holy cow!  A google search on ZF axles garners a lot of information.  Pretty cool stuff I'd never seen before.

We are pretty impressed with what they will do.  We are more impressed that a couple of redneck hillbilly alcohlics like us figured out how to stick them under a 4cyl yj and run them.  We are still running the stock 4 cyl motor, transmission, and tranfer case.
