Title: Misfiring after water fording
Post by: Willysman23 on 06/13/09 - 02:46AM
The other day I was out wheeling and came across a deep stream that came up  the top of the grill when I crossed it.I have a snorkel that works and the engine did not ingest water, none in the oil,and did not stall while in water. Soon after the water it started missing, and it is common to all cylinders.I have dried the wires, cap, rotor, replaced the coil, and thats as far as I got.No Check Engine light. It did submerge the fuel tank.It seems the less manifold pressure there is the worse it gets(fine when reved with no load, horrible with high load).Could there be water in the fuel or a clogged fuel filter? :102: Any advice would be helpful,I am new to fuel injection and computer systems.
