wiring / lighting

HELP, I was out this weekend and happened to notice I did not have any brakelights.  The park lights still work but no brakelight.  I checked the fuse box behind glove box and #2 was still good.  I checked the bulbs on both side and their good.  I really need help.  I'm at the end of my rope, I do not want to get a ticket.  Any thing anyone could tell me would be great.

Underneith the dash, above the brake pedal on the stem, there will be a pressure switch.  Check to make sure it is releasing when the brake pedal is pushed down.  Sometimes they get filled with crud & stick open (off position).
