Taylor Way at the Nixa Community Center. Follow
North St. west then turn south on Missouri follow it
to Mt. Vernon (Hwy 14) go west on Mt. Vernon, turn
north on Main St. and go along Main to Short St.
turn east on Short then turn south on Frank St.,
east on Kyle St. and disband at the Nixa Jr. High
School parking lot. If you have participants in the
parade you should plan on picking them up at the
Jr. High School and not at the Community Center.
Due to the large volume of entries we have had
the last few years the following measures are
being place on entries this year. All floats and
riders are to meet at the Nixa Jr. High school to
prepare their float. All float riders will need to be
on the float when they get to the Community Center
(No drop-offs are allowed at the Community
Center.) Only floats that are pre-registered and
have a participation card issued by the parks department
are allowed to line up for the parade. Participants who are
walking in the parade need to park at Century Elementary School and
walk over to the community center as a group. No walkers or float riders
are allowed to park at the community center or along Taylor Way.
We will need all this space to line up floats and parade entries.

The theme for this years parade is: Nixa?s Cartoon Character Christmas
This years parade will be led by Grand Marshall Coralee Patrick. The parade will start at 2:00 P.M. The community center will host a car show and chili feed for anyone entering a car in the Christmas Parade.
The car show starts at 10:30 AM. The chili feed is $ 3/person or $5/couple.
Fountain Plaza is south on 160 (Campbell) and you will see it on the left side of the road. It is past Wal-Mart.
