Yeah, and that character brought the resale value down a couple grand... but hey.. It's got character!!

Agreed... I wheeled the hell out of my 35k Jeep with 1200 miles on it at SMORR this spring! If parts break, Replace them with stronger ones!

Yeah... I figure I bought it to have fun with, and I certainly do. I'd rather get trail damage than have some jack hole in a rice burner run into it or something like that. (of course, most rice burners would just leave paint spots on my bumpers.  )

Indeed. It's why they were made... because they by NO MEANS are a luxury vehicle, so they must be made for fun.

We had fun yesterday, though I didn't really get to meet anyone from OJT.  I did get to talk to one on the radio on the drive down though.  They followed us from about the 59/60 junction all the way to Langley.  Never caught their names, and they had to pull off for a stop.  I know there were a ton of rigs there though!

That would have been me (Ron) and Keith, we came down later, and left early with a blown transfer case...
