I'm in whenever... except the weekend of Oct 28th.  Maybe we can double up with Ronnies Campout at Disney and do some "Rough Riding" while we're there.

:bounce: I think I can make Nov 11th!  I will most likely have to work a little in the am, but not past about 9, so I could be @ SMORR by 10-10:30ish.

To all reading this:
We had a GREAT time last time out.  We did run some very difficult trails, We did have some carnage, but WE DID have a great time.

These will be hard core trails, but all that are willing to try harder obsticles will be welcomed on this run.

Come out and be a "Rough Rider" with us! :driving:

I know I can most definitely make that. If 'Ronnies Disney Campout' falls on this same weekend... then I call all 'Rough Riders' to take up wheels and follow me to the land of much rock and deep, deep mudholes.

What's all this ROUGH RIDERS stuff about?
sounds like fun.
Id be in for something when my rig is fixed.  I busted a pinion gear and am waiting on parts.   That stuff gets expensive don't it?
I've got a buddy with an old Bronco, but he don't get it out much.  Maybe I can get him togo and I'll ride shotgun.  Does he have to worry about scraches and stuff or are the trails pretty wide?

thanks,
Kev

I thought you might like my avatar.....

Hvacmaster, when you say tight, can a full sized rig get threw the trails, are they only cut for Jeepies?  I wouldn't care about my rig I like it tight, but my buddy won't want his Bronco buster all scratched up.  BTW, where are the trails at, is it public or private land?

tanks,
Kev

Most of our trail rides have been out at the Southern MO Off Road Ranch (S.M.O.R.R.) while we have been getting ready for the 2nd Annual Fall 4x Fest  on Oct 14-15.  It's open to all levels of any 4x4 vehicle.  Just no ATV's or dirtbikes at this event.  There are some other trails that your friend could take his rig, but there may be a chance for some pinstriping from overgrown limbs and brush.  We're going out again this weekend to mark the trails and trim back some more brush, so that will help.

Check out SMORR's site at www.offrdranch.com for some pics of the place.  SMORR is an offroad park, so there is a fee of $10 for driver and $5 for passengers on normal days that there aren't events scheduled.

The other option some talked about is in Disney, OK under the dam for the Grand Lake of the Cherokee's.  Most stay at Hogans RV park and play on the trails back in the woods.  It's free to wheel, but if you camp at Hogans and break down on the trails, Russ Hogan will tow you out for free.

Later,
Keith
I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...
