XJ no start problem???????

91 xj no start problem. no spark, changed crank position sensor, changed coil, still no spark. Im at a loss, its very intermitant problem . any tips i need to get this thing going for october fest, I already used your knowledge to cut fenders, thanks!

Is there any problems with cam sensors in the xj, or could that be it?

Ok now Im really in trouble!!!!!!! replaced ECM and still no start and no spark counld it be the cam sensor in the dist., cause I thimk it and the crank sensor work together. And a question will the RPM gauge move at all while cranking?

Just a thought, you said its a intermittent problem, when it does it, does the jeep act dead when you try to start it or does it try to turn over?  If it does act dead have you checked the neutral start switch?

No it turns over and puts plenty of fuel to the injectors but no fire to the coil.  Im lost@#$^&^%$$#@$$$#@@%^&&$!!!!!!!!!!!!

:applaudit: All is fine !!!!!!!!Its fixed!!! it was the cam sensor aswell as a ground strap. I know that thanks to friend with a Snap-on Modius. Slaped a new dist. fixed the strap and it fired right up. So I will be able to go to Fall Fest!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all  your help i will see ya this weekend!!:beerchug:
