I was wondering what all it takes to do an axle under spring lift? Any inputs, suggestions?

You'll find a lot more info if you search other sites by SPRING OVER AXLE or SOA. 

Parts list:
New spring perches, brake lines, shocks, drop pitman arm, rear traction bar is a necessity. 
I'm assuming you want to use stock springs for ride and reasonable amount of lift?

It also depends what axles you are putting in.  You may have to outboard the hangers for 44's.  That adds some work to it.
I cut sheetmetal for free.  It's fixing it that get's expensive.
