fishing spots around nixa?

wanting to start fishing and I need a free place around nixa...

I just want to buy my license and go (possibly allow jon boats...not a big deal if not)

Springfield lake a little north, the Finley river a little south on 160. The James river between Springfield and Nixa on 160. There's no shortages of places to fish around here.

Golden Pond, Republic rd and Golden. little north of Nixa.

waterford in ozark stocks their pond too.

and there is always fellows and mc danial lakes north of springfield. there is lots of crappie at fellows. but since there is no size limit, they dont get real big.
CAMPING WITHOUT BEER IS JUST SLEEPING OUTSIDE!

riverdale on the finley is great for sucker grabbing, if you do that
trying to raise a teenager is like nailing jello to a tree
