What have you been doing to your jeep lately?
« on: 12/13/06 - 03:58PM »
Figured i'd make a post so everyone can talk about what they've been modding or even just wrenching on.

Me:
Gotta fab up winch plate and install new winch
Install new center console
Relocate OX shifter
Fix various leaks

All this should be done in time to go to DISNEY!

Great idea for a thread Aaron.

Since October 06 I've added:

Rockcrusher diff covers -- which I just replaced last week with SOLID diff covers. ( Rockcrusher MFG has merged with
http://solidaxle.com ). The RC set had leaks, they sent me a new set out right away, no questions asked.
JKS  Upper and lower adjustable control arms.
JKS Mini Skids
JKS HD tierod
Took off T-Case Drop Kit from my 4" lift
Warn Steering box skid
Warn Winch x9000i
No Limits 4x4 Windshield Frame Sliders
Flowmaster 40 series muffler
K&N Filter
PS Trail Stinger
I took some carbon fiber material, and covered the side of my rockrails with it, it's real subtle, looks cool.
Few new scratches and couple small dents have been added for character.[/list]

Well I started on my list.  Anyone know how to readjust an OX?  I didn't think about that until I had the thing apart.

Well we just finished adding to the cage and tube fendering the front along with some welding that needed to be touched up.  THe paint faded on the fenders because of the temp when we painted will be touching them up tonight.  Will be adding new seats, five point harness, and some new 35" tires for the 07 racing season.  Will post up pics of the cage and fenders later.

This comming week or 2 i hope to have my Aussie locker here, and installed.  As well as the ghetto selectable switch.

Next year, i'll be shooting for a Howell TBI, and SYE & CV shaft.  Maybe some boomerang shackles & decent seats.

Like it or hate it. I turned my M715 into a extended cab. Added 21 inches
to the cab. Shortned the bed. Added Dana 60 in the Front Dana 80 in the rear. 4 wheel disk brakes. 5.38 Gears to turn the 46 inch meats. I like to take the family with and I wanted a M715 to be different. It will be ready for the Spring. The only major fabbing left now is the roll cage. I posted a pic from a few months back when I was test fitting.

Well, I need to find a jeep before I can begin to spend all my money on upgrades or fixing stuff.

One of these days maybe I'll have something interesting to post. Until then I'll continue to chime in every once in a while.

So, what are you going to do for tires?
