Gear Shifter sticks
« on: 09/14/06 - 02:02PM »
At times when Im wheeling my shifter sticks and wont come out of gear havent paid much attention to which one it is but sometimes its reverse. New clutch assembly throwout bearing etc. could my tranny mount be bad and the off camber on these trails be the problem?

If your clutch isn't releasing completely it will sometimes cause the tranny to bind. Make sure that you're putting the clutch pedal to the floor. this would be cheap enough as all you would need would be a little adjusting.

be sure that the clutch master and slave cylinder are good or that there is no air in the lines.
