And believe it or not I've even seen Jeff get dirty working on it a couple times now! I know Brad you want pics!
-
Are you guys gunna make you own harness or send it off? Is he going to run dual masters and cutting brakes?
-
Brakes are still up in the air.
Harness is done, and was done by the crew in Mountain View I believe.

I thought Jeff was going to update this.
So is this going to be finished at the shop? How far along is the body/tub now?
-
I don't think Jeff has anything to do with it. He's just the money. Everyone else is doing the work. >:D
-
With the 203-205 doubler does the adapter clock the 205 up or is that the stock location? How are you gunna do the exhaust? Is it going to get in the way of the ds? or run it down the driver side frame rail?
-
Jeff actually has been doing a lot of work on his jeep.
He's done all the work on the 70 other than setting up the gears (learned as we went). He did the disc conversion etc.
The exhaust will likely be run down the DS frame rail.
I'm better with comp than he is LOL.
-
Aaron is in charge of keeping this thread on track. I am lucky to find enough time to work on the project. I thank you Aaron.
The 205 is "clocked". The ORD kit has that option now.
-
Is the tub done? what color is it going to be?
-
The tub is not done. I kept changing the wheelbase. The wheelbase is now set, and the tub will be painted black. When it is finished is totally up to the friend who is doing that work for me. I do not have the desire for body work any longer. Too little time, and I am too picky.
-
I was just raggin' on ya Jeff, I know you're capable of doing it all yourself. I know I'd gladly accept help on mine. :P Can't wait to see it, going to be unique... around here.

35 Spline Superior Inners, Yukon Super Joints, 35 Spline Yukon Stubs.

Thanks to Aaron for posting the pictures.
Very pleased with the manifolds. Super joints seem great too.
We worked on my front gear set and locker install monday night.
-
Nice headers. Looks like it will clear the frame and motor mounts good.
-
That was kinda the plan!
-
what headers are they ?
-
Sanderson ceramic(sp) coated.
They were "proud" of them, but they look great!
Percy gaskets.
-
Do you have anything done with the front ds? Will it need to be a 2 piece or will it clear the th400 pan? Pics?
-
No problem with the front driveshaft and clearing the tranny pan. There is plenty of room on that side. We have run into a problem with the gear set up on the front. We have a call to make today for some answers. Started putting High Steer Arms on last night before I went home. Hope to get some new pictures up this week.
-
I saw the project last week. Looking very nice. Just remember those 1410 yokes all the way around (or at least the rear for a start)...then you will be ready for that blower. :firedevil:
-
Well long time without me updating this. Here is a current pic. The tub and frame have been reunited.
The scrambler also got a link suspension front and rear and coilovers.

I'll post more pics as I can. Just proving a long term project doesn't die off.
-
This looking like a killer build, I can't wait to see the finished product. :101:
-
It will still be a while, but real progress is being made on a daily basis. I know he has electric fan and radiator hung now.
