Hey, Anyone seen any of these for sale in the Springfield area? I'm ready to swap the Wrangler for a new toy. I can't afford a new Rhino so I thought i'd look into one of these. Thanks Mark
-
A little more info might help.
-
Are you wanting a toyota mini-truck which was the truck they produced for a long time. Or are you wanting one of those little Suzuki things that is like a rhino with an inclosed cab.
There is one of the suzuki things for sale at Apex Towing in Rogersville.
-
OOPs!
I guess I didn't think, I am referring to the little Rhino,Mule type rigs. They are putting atv tires on them with lift kits. Seems like they should go pretty good. 4x4 w/ hi & low range, some with locking diffs. Thanks Mark
-
I have one and think it is DANDY! I do not have any pics of mine, but here is an example of what these trucks look like.

A stock version of that is what is for sale at Apex that I mentioned above.
-
Oh, okay. I've seen one sitting across from the Supercenter on Sunshine and West Bypass.
-
Ok, Now we're talkin. Guru, have you put it in any rough stuff? I'm wanting to be able to trail ride down here in Arkansas in the woods and creeks, and some dry creek beds thrown in. Are these things capable of this sort of stuff or should I forget it? They look like they would be real handy around the house to. Anyone know the prices on the ones you have spotted? Thanks Mark
-
why?
-
why?
Why do you drive a land rover?
-
Because it is just as capable as my jeep with just as much heritage but is built better from the start. It gives me a change of pace and has a suspension that was far ahead of its time as well as a factory trans brake and a three link type setup. Plus 80% of humans saw a land rover before any other vehichle on the planet. I love my jeep too!

I think you missed the point of my question...........
-
Because each person is an individual and they can :applaudit:
-
sorry. is this a replacement for the jeep? my buddy has some things like this. Looks fun.
-
Yea, I want somthing I can trail ride with my buddys on their atvs and can use around the house. I have the Jeep listed for sale on here now. Thanks Mark
-
I would not say they will replace a Jeep, but they are fun. I put a 3" lift and 25" tires on mine. These are built like a toyota with a solid axle rear and an independent front. Some even come with a factory electric locker in the rear.
I mainly use mine around the farm and other things. It is nice to have a heater and doors in the winter when feed the horses.
-
I'm sure like anything, they can be modified but My buddys seemed to be a little big to go where a 4 wheeler can go and go not go where a well built jeep can go.. That is why I replied "why?". It was fun just running over stuff around his land. No harm meant. I bet that there is someone who has turned one of these things into something bad ass.
-
I'm going to be gone until Sunday, but when I get home i'm going to really try to peddle the Jeep so i'll be able to get one of these critters and see what I can do with it. Surely they will go thru the woods where a Rhino will go. They are kind of pig wide you know. Thanks Mark :agree:
-
I HAVE SEEN A FEW OF THESE AROUND NOT REALY PRICING THEM BUT FROM THE SHOE POLISH IN THE WINDOW AROUND 4 TO 5 K SEEMS TO BE THE ASKING ON THEM. i HAVE SEEN ACOUPLE IN HARRISON.
oops sorry for the caps to lazy to re do it

I have seen some down around there I live close by I will try to check it out for you this weekend
-
There are two of them in Ridgdale, on 65 Hwy at the State Line. If you can't find one closer let me know and I can run by and see what they are asking.
-
Checked the one out at the state line. Its a Subaru with the motor in the rear and it has independant suspention all around. I think I need one with the motor in the middle and with leaf springs on the rear for what I have planned. He's supposed to get more in. Mark

There is a Daihatsu sp? west of Rogersville on Hwy 60 on the north side on a lot for sale. Saw it on the way to Seymour this past weekend.
