I bought a Commando up near Warsaw which has no Powertrain, so it is pretty light. I was going to tow it home on a dolly to save gas over my big truck and trailer. The only problem is that the tires DO hold air but they are pretty dry - rotted and I am not thrilled about towing home 2 hours on them.
Does anyone have 2 of the "Big 5 Lug" pattern wheels (Jeep/Ford)with decent tires that I could borrow for the tow home... would only need them for half a day and if I damage I would replace, however ,it is just from Warsaw and would only be the trip home. I can give you something of equal value to hold while I use the tires.
