Snow

look at that big bad boy snow storm coming at us. It doesn't look like this one will be a teaser like the last. I'm hoping for a foot of snow minimum.

Hehe... Looking forward to a quiet day in the office tomorrow since none of my coworkers will be able to make it in.  8)

why do the people here suck so bad at forcasting snow? :deadhorse: we went from 6-8 inches, to not even an inch. and now the heavy snow showers they called for, for today, are just flurries.
what the hell. dont get my hopes up for big snow, if its not gonna happen.

I agree, but I would rather them tell me that we may get 6-8 inches (basically so I can be better prepared) and only get 1 inch than them say well it looks like the storm is going to let up and then be hit like oklahoma was (IMO its better to have no snow than be part of storms like this one) - here are some pretty interesting new clips from today: :o

More than 132,000 utility customers were without power in Oklahoma on Thursday night, nearly doubling the number of affected customers since the sun went down.

More than 67,000 customers were without power at 5:30 p.m., according to state emergency management spokeswoman Michelann Ooten. That number jumped to more than 132,000 by 9:30 p.m., she said.

More than 55,000 Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives customers in southwestern, south central and central Oklahoma were without power as of 9:30 p.m., Ooten said.

Nearly 44,000 customers on the Public Service Co. of Oklahoma network in western Oklahoma also were without power about 9:30 p.m., spokesman Stan Whiteford said. Outages in Chickasha, Hobart and Lawton were affecting more than 37,000 customers, he said.

About 1" here in Ft Leonardwood now. I went to Lebanon earlier today and they barely had a 1/2" but I drove by probably 25-30 Power trucks heading west on I44
