I'm addicted to it.  I'm also planning on getting the book.  I've heard even as accurate as the show is there is a lot they had to leave out.

I've been watching it; I think it's loaded with leftist biased and liberal diarrhea, starting with the title. Other than that bunch of hooey, I like it.

I dropped HBO a while back, but have heard about the show.  I'd like to see it though.
I'd put something funny here, but you probably wouldn't get it anyway...

You had to expect that based on the source of the book though... I mean you can even see that the Marines expected it to be shown that way when it was all over.

I did expect it; but I really like war movies and series and will watch it regardless.

I'm of the same opinion.  I enjoy the series because it's well done and a relatively accurate portrayal.

I'll probably buy the series when it comes out on DVD.

I agree with you Jimmy.  I was really looking forward to this show, but have been greatly disappointed.  Way too left for me.  I mean, in the show, what have they done?  Seized an airfield that wasn't even used, lost a supply truck, turned back surrendering Iraqis to face those they fled from, and killed lots of innocent people.  GOOD GOD I hope thats not accurate, and its obviously not or we would be getting our ass kicked over there.

Aaron has told me about it but I haven't seen anything on it.

I would probably like it.

Jay,

You kinda had to expect that portrayal, I mean the writer was from Rolling Stone, not exactly the most promilitary publication out there.
