Title: 2006 Wrangler Advice/Help!
Post by: Morg4404 on 01/20/16 - 05:38PM
Hello,

I have a 2006 Wrangler, that I love - and I admit up front, I'm not mechanically inclined!

I just got a call from my mechanic, basically my whole rear end (differential, rear brakes, axl) are shot.  He's quoting me $3100 to give a full new rear end.  Does this sound reasonable?

I really appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

IMO, a dollar spent on a turdy five is a dollar wasted. That said you could setup a nice D44  or 8.8 for that.
