KORE Build - Project "Rubi Reconstruction"
« on: 12/18/08 - 02:49PM »
Project Rubi Reconstruction belongs to a customer from Kansas City, MO.

He had us pick up his Jeep & bring it down to our shop for the transformation.

We aquired the Jeep in a pretty bare state....There were no axles, suspension, seats, cage, etc..in the Jeep.

The owner also sent down a set of Dana 60's rebuilt with Detroit Lockers & 5.13's.

Everything else we were to supply.

The owner left it pretty simple for us.  He just told us what he wanted in the end & trusted my ability to make it happen up to my standards & his as well.

 Spec Sheet:

- Leave stock 4.0 motor, manual trans, & T-case for now.  (Already planning on 5.3 swap next year)
- Dana 60's front & rear with disk brakes
- 42" Irocs on custom KORE 17" Beadlocks
- Wheelbase setup at 112"
- Custom KORE Cage
- PRP Competition Hi Back Seats mounted on cage
- RCI Fuel Cell setup with our TJ Fuel Cell Rings
- Red Top Optima in our Battery Box
- 4 Link Suspension front & rear utilizing our Bracketry & Trusses
- KORE Heavy Duty Skid Plate & Transmission Crossmember Kit
- 14" Travel Fox 2.0 Emulsion Coilovers & Fox 3" Travel Air Bumps
- PSC Full Hydraulic Steering
- KORE Bumpers Front & Rear along with a set of our new TJ Tube Fenders
- Custom Rocker Guards & Corner Guards

That should cover most of the list....I'll add more as I think of it.

Enjoy the Pics!

I've spoken with the owner & we're planning on him coming down towards the end of January for an unveiling & fourwheeling trip.  We'll most likely be taking him to Clayton for him to break it in properly.  Stay tuned for that announcement.
