Operation Pink!
« on: 08/14/09 - 10:25PM »
Well I haven't come up with a permanent name so the rebuild phase will be called Operation Pink in recognition of the last meeting and my gifts.

As the other thread shows I traded with Jimmy and now own a TJ Rubicon.

When I got it.

TO DO LIST:
New pass side knuckle
All new front axle shafts and joints
New ball joints
windshield & frame
Paint Cage
Install Harnesses
Install and paint a CJ tailgate
Rokmen full corners
Flat skid
New shocks

Will be working on this most of the weekend, drop by tonight or tomorrow before 3

Filled front diff with Royal Purple.
Got steering in place and bolted in.
Sway bar links mocked up in order to get some missing parts.

I could get it trail worthy in 1 good day if I wanted to.

Reinstall brake lights and fuel filler, bushings in upper arms, install harnesses, and bleed the brakes.

It's the rest of the list that will take time.

Windshield
Tailgate
Full Corners

Got the bushings in the upper arms (MAJOR PIA, and almost have it back together if I could get 1 arm to cooperate.

Going to attempt to throw it back together for the MG friday, however nothing will be painted so if there it will still be ugly/incomplete.
