I AM PUTTING A LIFT ON MY BROTHR'S 95 XJ THIS WEEKEND AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT SIZE TIRES EVERYONE ELSE IS FITTING UNDER THEIR XJ'S.
WE ARE DOING A ROUCH COUNTRY 3INCH LIFT WITH LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND SWAY BAR BRACKETS.
SOME OF THE BOOKS SAY YOU CAN ONLY GET 31X10.5 R15 UNDER IT WITH 3 INCH LIFT.
THANKS FOR THE ANY INFORMATION!

I had 32-10.50's under my 89 XJ with about the same lift. You may need to adjust the steering stops and pound back some fender well material, but it should work. The 31's they suggest is for absolutely no rubbing.
Have fun and start shooting the PB Blaster now if you haven't already...
-
WE HAVE BEEN SPRAYING THE PB BLASTER FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS NOW.
WE ARE PUTTING A SET OF 32'S ON IT FOR NOW, WE WOULD LIKE TO GET 33'S BEFORE TWO LONG.
-
Nick your dad said Sat. what time?
-
I WOULD LIKE TO START AT 10:00 AM. I'M GOING TO START FRIDAY NIGHT FOR A FEW HOURS TO GET A HEAD START. THIS THINGS IS COVERED IN MUD AND OIL UNDERNEATH. LOOKS LIKE ALOT OF FUN!
-
CARWASH.... and PB Blaster. I'll be over there at 10am on sat. I think I remember how to get there. Who are the other participants this time?

JASON WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE GROCERIES FALLING OUT.

Well we lifted it and put 32's on it. It looks good. Not bad at all for a budget rig.
