« on: 09/23/06 - 03:28AM »

Don't forget to preregister!
For info, go to http://www.fall4xfest.com or http://www.moroc-us.com

MOROC woods race details
October 14-15, 2-Single day, Exhabition woods races.

There will be two seperate woods races. One Saturday, one Sunday. On Saturday, the woods race will begin between 2-3pm.  The event is expected to be over by 6:30-7pm.  On Sunday, the woods race will begin at 10am and will be over by 2pm.  Get there early to register your vehicle/team and for a quick review of the rules.

There will be a total of 4-5 courses that each competitor will have to complete. These courses be of custom design and made from the trails closest to the office. Should be very spectator friendly.

There are four classes in the orgional MOROC rules. We are still operating out of those classes, but they are going to be based strictly on tire size for this event. That way, we can attract the average trail runner to the game. These are the 4 classes and their very low entry fees:

Stock class: 33" tires. $10.00

Modified Class: 35" tires. $20.00

Legends: 40" tires. $30.00

Super-Modified Class: Larger than 40" tires. $30.00

All class fees are 100% payback for the top 3 who place in each class.
50%, 30%, 20%
First place winners will also recieve trophies.

There'll (is that a word) probably be some in OJT that don't post on the forum, but I'm not positive who.

Not me, I know that...

I will run in the unlimited class, but you had better run in the stock mod class.
The phrase "You almost made it" breaks a lot of things.

I might be up to trying it out if I can get the gremlins out of my jeep, it likes to die when most inconvenient.  I think Murpy put it together

Are the trails going to still be open to wheel to people not competing both days when the comp is running?

Me too, cap'n!
Gonna be fun fun, Brandon are you(we) doing the ball and barrel race as well, or will be in the woods, giving those trees a whuppin'? If so, it oughtta be a ride to remember, either way.  :ahhhhh:

I also think that if there's any way possible, that Mike (mjsterio) should run this WR, if he only had more meat under that red stump jumper he had @ the non-stocker run!

Good luck to anyone who decides to race, gonna be a blast!

I am still riding the fence on this one

Do I need a spotter?

Here is my dilema... I don't know anything but that skinny pedal :brows:
soooo...If I break, I could be done for the entire weekend.
Not that I wouldn't be able to help out around the park,  but would still like to wheel with everyone.

I do have fresh meats under her...and think they will work great.

Is it just obstacles or is there areas where we can open them up?

All new to me... any info will help :banghead:

Thanks

Mike
othing but skinny pedal!!!

open front, welded rear, 31" LTB's

It may be small but I can still get it UP!!

Really, it shouldn't be that bad.  You know you want to do it.  Just try a little and if you like, I know where you can get some more.

I woods racing it is hard to break something unless you run into a tree or hit large bumps/rocks too fast.
