Why not just rebuild the one you already have? That's all reman motors are.

ok. so im buying a motor from 4wd.com. they have ATK brand renman motors, they seem to have best warrany. and they aer cheaper than anything local i can find. and shipping and core return are free. im also ordering a highflow water pump, and a full set of currie adjustable, johnny joint control arms!!

now i just need somebody with a motor hoist to help me put this thing in my heap!

Just make sure that once the motor is out to move everything over that doesn't match.

label label label everything, get sandwich bags and label all bolts and parts, organization will help alot too.

I agree with jeeperboy :o  the more organized you keep thing the easier it will go.  If you have a digital camera take some pics of things you feel are complicated and you can look at them later.  I have always liked having a long long day to do a swap I like to get as much done in one session as I can, I have short term memory though.

I'm with Jeeper Guy. Bag & tag everything that you need to. We do the same thing on tearing down industrial size gas turbines so that EVERYBODY knows what it is & where it came from. Pictures are a great idea to use for back reference. Sometimes we'll disassemble something, label it, & tape the bag of bolts right to the parts they came from, we also use those manila tags with wires & label the tag with magic markers. Bag, tag, & organize! Try not to pile stuff in order to keep it from getting inter mixed.
Good luck!

i ended up finding a shop that had a really good labor rate, and does good work. so i droped it off to him, and he did it. i didnt want me doing it myself to void my lifetime warranty that i paid for.
