Dana 30 TJ Swap ?

Is the front D30 out of a mid 90's Cherokee a direct swap into a 2000+ TJ?  I am inquiring because they are high pinion.  Did these Cherokees have coils up front?

rumor has it the brackets are slightly different on the control arms. but the 96- cherokee axle has smaller u-joints.
