Is there a way a cheap SOB such as myself could volunteer there to avoid paying $195? I would like to go but $200 bucks is a bit steep!

Keep in mind all you get for $200. You get several meals (although for $200 it sounds like a trails only trip) you still get a few meals. You get the access to the park, you get access to all the vendors, you get door prizes. In the short $200 is alot but in the long run it is worth the $$. I have a friend in TN whos first jeeping experiance was a Jambo and he got nearly $500 worth of door prizes

I don't believe you become a trail guide through Jeep Jamboree.  My understanding is each event has a local event coordinator and that person chooses guides and makes the local arrangements.

Billy and I will be there to get down and dirty!  Billy broke his spider gear last time the tackled the ranch, but he's got a new (used) Rubicon and something to prove!!!

I care what it looks like, and do all the maint, including painting stuff all the time, BUT still like to get it muddy.............I'm sure it's a weakness in my personality.
