tranny was a little warm but seemed to function fine after getting out of the hole. drove a bit more then stopped to air up our tires to head home climbed a small hill while j to finish up backed down the hill and i did hear a large pop then thought maybe i blew a ujoint or something got and looked but it all looked normal so figured my driveline got bound up and then unloaded. After getting it home the next morning like i said i didn't have reverse or 3rd (from a 727 manaul it says r and 3rd are on the same set so that would explain why i didnt have reverse or 3rd but not why i still had reverse before i parked it) drained the tranny it was full of pepto looking fluid put in a new filter old one was full of gunk and my pan and drain pan had what i could best describe as fine gunpowder in them and alot of it flushed the tranny refilled still no 3rd or r. I did notice that when i pulled the wroung line (in not the out) that it didn't flow any fluid out of it so i am thinking my cooler is plugged up to other then that thats about it. Sucks when i got the jeep the trans was supposed to be rebuilt and you can tell its been out of the jeep and even marked by a shop. Tcase was full of water to because that vent line fell down under the jeep but still functioned just fine. Sorry for the long post.
