Ok. I'm headed to chadwick saturday night to camp. Then gonna wheel on sunday. I hope to get a few jeeps out there! Let me know if you wanna join.

dumb ? but im thinking about going to chadwick on friday and this will be my first time so i was wondering what the rules are and if you have any tips? is there a website or any place i can get a map so i dont end up somewhere i shouldnt be. thanks for the help, chad

Other than maps that show how to get there, I don't know of any. But stay on marked trails, and you should be fine. You are more than welcome to come out sunday with me.

Oh, and if you see mud, or water that looks deep. Get out and check it. Some of those holes are very deep.

I have seen a few rigs buried half way up the doors in mud holes that didn't look very deep.

Make sure you DO NOT go on the ATV trails!!!  There are no more "warnings" for being on illegal trails.  It is a $250+ ticket immediately.  You can go on the marked roads in the Garrison area.  Stop by and get a map from Kay's Country Store.  They are like $10, but well worth it.  If you see a trail but no sign, stay off of it.  That means it's a closed trail.  They no longer mark trails closed, just simply remove the signs to "close" them.

No problem! I had a great time too......untill I had to change my altenator in the ozark auto zone parking lot! Damn jeep altenators are expencive! $194 after tax!!!
