FOR ALL THOSE WHO AGREED TO BE DRIVERS
The 2nd Annual OJT "Big" Run will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this time, Big Brothers Big Sisters groups will be paired with Ozarks Jeepthing Club members to take an off-road tour of the Ozarks at the Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR) in Seymour, MO.
Agenda for the Day:
8:45 - 9:30: OJT Arrives and Prepares
9:30 - 10:00: BBBS Registration Open
10:00 - 12:00: Trail Ride
12:00 - 12:30: Lunch
12:30 - 1:00: Photos with Jeeps on Obstacle Course
1:00 - 1:15: Group Photo
1:15 - 1:45: Play on Obstacle Course
2:00: Wrap Up and Dismiss
REMEMBER: Drivers pay the $25 to get into the park, all passengers are free

Hope this isn't too much of a hijack, but is anyone (besides me) planning on camping Friday &/or Saturday night? JSYK, we're going down Friday afternoon and will stay until sometime Sunday (weather will determine actual times :)

The tshirt orders had to be in by March 30th. As for camping, there are some looking to that option for Friday night I believe. I've heard it discussed before. I may be in but don't know yet.

long term forecast right now is for thunderstorms on Saturday, April 12th. Being that it's 10 days out, take it with a big grain of salt.

We will look at the weather on April 10th and make a decision by noon if the event needs to be rescheduled. Watch this post and Facebook for updates on that date.

JEEPERS: We are nearing the OJT "Big" Run on Saturday. Please look for your name below and comment this post if you CAN NOT make the run.
Those not listed below, we need 3 Jeeps as a "just in case" measure. Remember, you pay $25 to enter the park, OJT covers lunch. Please post below if you can be one of the 3 "just in case" Jeeps.

I need an OJT sticker for the Barbie Jeep (Kelly, I'm just going to tape it on, but it REALLY needs one on the hood!). I thought I had one, I thought wrong. If someone has one, please bring with you. Thx.
We're going down Friday noonish, do a little 'pre-wheelin'. Staying Saturday night, but prob'ly going home Sunday morning.

With the run coming up Saturday, I had a minor mishap with my radiator. It decided the fluid would be better outside than in. So on saturday I ordered a new Mopar radiator and was a little concerned it might not make it in time. Yesterday it showed up on my doorstep and last night it got installed.

Kelly, glad you got it all done (liquid inside is much preferred!). I need to get some info on the radiator, as I think my 01 TJ is getting close.

Got both Jeeps loaded (a big red one and a cute little pink one, thanks to Kelly!).

Well, I think the 2nd Annual was a 'big' hit. I know a couple of the 'bigs' outside of their organization, and in talking to them today they said the kids really had a great time! I know that it is a lot of work for a few of you dedicated people, but personally, I think it is a good cause with a lot of return (young kids that don't get to do as much otherwise).
I know that there are more than just these people that put out the effort, but GREG, BILL, CHRIS, BRANDON, you guys get atta boys from me!

Steve - I'm in full agreement that the event was worth the effort. The smiles and laughs were awesome!
Shanna, Peggy and Joy were instrumental in getting everyone signed in and to their spots. Steve Groves led a group as well.
Bryan, Clint Benham and Chris Martinez took on photo duties too. We had club wide help with this thing and made it an AWESOME day!
