thats a funny pic, i look like i'm doing a chicken impression.

i told you to let it eat and get on it, then i realized i was in the way and you shot out like a bullet.

it was fun though. the rig impressed me and it flexed and moved well.

Was a fun event to attend.  Lots of neat things to watch.

What all went WRONG with the other Ozarksfab rig?  It seemed to have a little problem during tough truck?

The "green" not sure what color to call the other jeep did a good job completing the course even lackin a front locker.

Wasn't attempting to be insulting.  Just curious what happened since it looked bad.

I actually have jumped mine before since I've played in the sand dunes, but I did have an advantage since mine is still coil sprung.

Well, it looked a lot worse than it really was.

We'll have it back on the trails in a couple weeks.  Shocks, one brake line, one motor mount, and transfer case bolts to fix.  We are going to put 18" travel shocks on it and make all the shock hoops taller and add some more bump stops.

I wasn't trying to be mean, that is why I removed my previous post, it was a little crappy, sorry.

The mystery of the battery box will probably never be solved tho...

here is what you could call a carnage list

radiator due to the frame buckling a little bit, not my fab work, but itll get braced

rear driveshaft, broke the yoke ears off

rear shock tabs, my fault for not welding them all the way (basically tacked on)

front shock hoops, my welds stayed, the tubing ripped

one brakeline got pinched in the front

the rig was built for crawling and trails and mud, not jumping. had i not gone balls to the wall it would have lasted just fine

the battery never left the rig, only the battery box for some reason. it could be back on the trails this weekend, but we want to change a couple things first. longer shocks 18" and some nitrogen bumpstops, braced motor mount area on the frame
and itll do everything we can throw at it.

not really alot of carnage for how bad it looked. it was a fun ride though

So are you going to jump it more?  Why change the shocks?  Where they too short?

Did anyone video it?  I heard about it, read about the carnage, and would have liked to see what it looked like at speed.

I still remember what it looked like when Big Pimpin bent that 44 doing the same thing!
I cut sheetmetal for free.  It's fixing it that get's expensive.
