Well we can't have a political conversation area and not have a poll.
-
HA! No doubt Aaron!
I'm saying that McCain/Palin will be the winning ticket.
-
Looks like to poll would agree with us Jimmy... at least as of now.
-
im going with McCain and the Drifter as well 8)
-
I'll bet Sarah can change an axle in the middle of a rain storm.
-
geeze what a landslide, I wonder if the actual election will be similar to this pole??

useing a rock and a stick, as her only tools, and in the middle of the night!
God willing, this poll will be true on election day
-
Seems our poll doesn't agree with all the news polls... they show Obama in a slight lead.
-
That's the difference between the large populations focused on the east and the leftist coasts. That shows you why without the electorial college, it wouldn't be close.
-
um... DUH.
MCCAIN * PALIN have substance.
Obama * Biden are empty windbags.
-
BTT I know more than 26 people view the politics area.
-
I wonder... is this who people THINK will win or WANT to win. Unfortunately I'm afraid it might not be the same.

This is what I'm wondering as well.

27-2 McCain... :)
Who voted Democrat and why?
I have noticed a trend... Most Jeep owners have conservative values, believe in God, Have good family values,Our right to bear arms, And are not afraid to put their country first. Yep... I fit this demographic...lol
-
We dont' ask who voted on the polls. Everyone is welcome to their votes and thats why it doesn't have usernames listed next to it.
I agree with most people who 4wheel are conservatives. Pirate has a similar poll with similar percentages. The numbers on the pirate poll are just much larger.
So the countdown to the election is getting smaller... the media seems to be pushing the liberal agenda more this time than any i've watched in the past and the Obama budget is IMPRESSIVE to say the least.

Well if everyone would get out and vote, THINK and WANT should be the same. You cant set at home watching the debates and hope for the majority to vote the way you want.
-
I agree with you gunnut, and also think if you don't vote you have 0 right to complain about the outcome.
I also have a real problem with the fact we still use the electoral college is this day of modern communication, but I suppose thats a topic for another debate.

Obama budget is IMPRESSIVE to say the least.
That's because Obama is cheating; it's the only way he can win. He won't disclose where all the money is coming from... (overseas, from dead people, etc..) McCain has disclosed everything pertaining to contributions, he is on the up-in-up, which is why in the end... he will win.
-
Oh I'm not saying its a good thing or its not from an illegal source, just impressive that at last check he had spent DOUBLE the highest previous candidates spending.

If it wasn't for the electorial college, New york, and California would be electing all our presidents. The midwest wouldn't have any say. Think of it this way, look at Missouri. Basically, the 4-5 counties around St. Louis, KC and Columiba will rule this election even though if you look at all the other counties, 95% are all red.

Your exactly right.. Springfield wouldn't count for squat. If not for the EC we'd have ACORN really calling the shots.
