I like it, but Crawlers make anything look good.

I absolutely love the double tube rear bumper in chrome.

Not really. Still have to finish his and put a mini spool in mine.

That 5,000 peso reward for Sanchez, came in handy to help me finish my jeep, I bought a chrome tow hook.

He just needed a little more clearance in the rear.  He also has to cut a little on the front fenders for more clearance as well.

That is what I am needing to do, cut for more clearance..how is the cut achieved so as not to really mess up the paint job and what do you do, without investing in a major paint job, to cover up bare metal? My jeep is a regular driver and looks pretty good for an old jeep..no "trail trophy" marks on it, yet but not too worried abt that, infact looking fwd to trophy marks..anyway I need to do some mod to the clearance area and can use all the tips I can get.

Depends on how much you are cutting.  If you need allot of clearance the best way is to mask off the area on both sides of the cut and use a jigsaw.  It does not introduce any heat into the area and as long as you don't scratch the paint, it works well.

Cutting wheels, plasmas, and torches will blister the paint due to the heat used or caused.  Watch your heat and cut away.  Cutting wheels are my preferred method.

For small areas grinding is very good but you will be heating the metal also.  But if you watch to see if you are blistering it you can accomplish allot.

To touch up the paint use a normal touch up.  Dave is putting flares on so I imagine that he touched up the bare metal and then installed the flares so the paint didn't have to be nice looking.

Hope that helped/helps.

Actually, I haven't painted at all YET.  I need to cut out a little more clearance after this weekend at disney.  I used a cut of wheel and grinder.  I didn't have a lot of blistering problems because I taped off what I wanted to cut and then cut below the tape.  Helps with flaking also.  If you do use a cut off wheel, just don't hold it on there for a long time and just do short cuts at a time.
