Disney Run July 17th

We will meet at Hoods Truck Shop just off I44 west around 6am. We will depart at 6:30am. Remeber to bring changes for the toll road in OK. Depending on what you are driving its anywhere from $1.25 to $5.00. You can bring your lunch or there is a burger joint in Disney. Hogan will charge a $5.00 fee(if it hasn't gone up) to park on his lot. If you are wanting to camper and wheel Sun, Hogan does have camp sites. Just google Hogan offroad park to get more info.

I called Russ @ Hogan's. With all the rain in southeast Kansas this week, the Core is run running water out the main gate into the rock garden. He said that they could stop anytime. We can't wheel in the rock garden until they stop running water. I'm not one wait til the last minute to make a decision and try to get ahold of everybody and let them know. With the Core running water and the heat index going to be over 100. I'm postponing the Disney run till Sept.

I plan on being at hoods between 6 and 6:30 if it is flooded still I might just go some were else but I plan on wheeling Sat.

Oilcan & spouse will be in Disney on the 17th.  We have already made our plans.  Hope to see someone from the Jeep club there.

GOOD NEWS, I just called Russ and he said that the Core has closed the gate, so we can now wheel in the rock garden. If you want to go wheeling, be at Hoods before 6:30am. That is the planned departure time.

I will also plan a Disney wheeling trip in Sept. That way those of us that couldn't make this trip can try to make that one in Sept.

That will give my wife and I something to plan. She wanted to be there tomorrow but when it got cancelled, She volunteered to work since she took last Saturday off.

We had a great day! only carnage was a stub shaft and a tail pipe few scratched wheels.once I can get into youtube I will get some videos up
