good looking tow rig.  8) V10, probably didn't even notice that itty bitty bronco on the trailer.

No i didn't, i only ran 60 up I44 but that was more due to how windy it was, night time and it was my first time towing using this truck. On top of being tired. Since someone stole the tires so the front axle was burried half way into the dirt. And my in-law's tractor was junk so i had to jack up a little and block.

Awesome looking rig. Was thinking about getting one as well, but was concerned with fuel mileage. What kind of fuel mileage are you getting.

I have not actually manually calculated the millage by hand. This is all off the little computer that is in the vehicle. So take it for what it's worth. I get an average of 15/17mpg on the highway not towing anything. And 11/14 in town driving, if i can keep my foot out of it. Now towing this bronco the computer was saying i was getting and average of 11mpg. I wasn't using OD running 60mph steadily, both up and down the hills coming from Jopling to Springfield. Think the RPM's held around 2500-3000. But O how nice it was to sometime's forget i was towing, having the kids watch a movie in the DVD and when the wife get's cold do to my lowering the temp on the climate control she can turn on the bum warmer in the leather seats hehe. I will ask this not to turn into a diesel/gasser debate, i bought mine with a V10 on purpose and that's all i'm saying  :101:

And if you have conern's about millage, these X's are not Hybrids hehehe. I'm on disability so mine sit's most of the time. Def. not a to and from work everyday kinda vehicle. I bought it cause i needed to have something i could tow with, and my boy is on a traveling wrestling team and sometimes some of the wrestler's need a ride. Basically my next option was a school bus, but the wife didn't like the yellow's LOL

Mine is an '05  :), Only year that they matched the X's and the F250-350's grill's, well in stock form. Lot's of ppl are swapping out grill's.

not going to start a diesel/gas debate at all. The wife and I  was looking at getting rid of the yukon to get one for her daily drvier and the salesman to me it would get about 7 mpg and I decided it wasn't worth it. So the wife and I talked and she went from one extreme to the other and decided on a grand prix. If it wasn't for the salesman we probably would have had one.

We loved the room they have and having three kids it would have been nice. I am loving the 25 mpg the car is getting though.

thanks
Scott

Well that salesman didn't have a clue as to what he was talking about 7mpg, guess if i kept my foot in it all the time i could get down that low. I visit another Ford trucks website and did a lot of search on them as far as mpg was concern'd and was pretty please considering there a fricken tank.
