DISNEY OK. JANUARY 6-8 LET'S WHEEL!!!!!!!!

WANTING TO GET POST STARTED SO EVERYONE HAS PRENTY OF NOTICE.  SOME OF US WILL BE GOING DOWN ON THAT FRIDAY THE 6TH AFTERNOON AND WHEEL SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.  I'VE NEVER BEEN, BUT ROCK GENERAL INFORMED ME OF THIS DATE AND I AM DIEING TO GO.  HOPE WE CAN HAVE A GOOD TURN OUT AND START THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT.  SO START PLANNING.

This Disney, OK run is the first offical OJT event of the year.

Hogan does have a 3 bedroom trailer there that can be rented out

OK, sorry it has taken so long for me to reply on the Disney run I have been super busy.  For those that have never been Disney has something for everyone from bone stock to the best rock buggy money can buy.  There are open rock crawling areas as well as miles and miles of wooded trails.  Out of all the places I have wheeled this is my favorite, we usually go two or three times a year.

  As for places to stay there are several, if you're tough you can camp out at Hogan's Off Road Park #918-435-2737 ask for Russ I believe he does also have a trailer for rent although I have never stayed in it.  There is Rogers Cabins #918-435-4540 that is where we are staying he has one and two bedroom cabins for very reasonable pricing $40-50 per night, although he only has about six cabins.  There is Mooney's Sunset Motel #918-435-4982 sorry don't know much about this one.  There are three others that are close but not right by the wheeling action they are Lake of the Cherokee's Motel #918-782-9754, Grand Lodge Motel #918-782-3262, and Cliff Pat Motel #918-782-3850 sorry dont know much about these either.  Rogers Cabins knows we are coming with a hopefully large group so he is expecting some calls.

Sorry I almost forgot, there are RV hookups at Hogan's and two state ran parks with camping and RV hookups right by Hogan's and the wheeling.  All three have shower areas as well.  

  Also we are planing on meeting at noon on Friday the 6th at the Republic Wal-Mart Super Center and leaving from there.

  Directions:  Hwy 60 west into Oklahoma stay on 60 till Hwy 82 turn south follow 82 into Langley and turn east onto Hwy 28 follow 28 across the first dam it is long and youre there, there are signs for Hogan's and Rogers Cabins.  If you want to take I-44 you go west to the Vinita exit #289 and turn east onto Hwy 60 follow 60 to Hwy 82 turn south then same as other from there.

  If some aren't coming down until Saturday the 7th post on here and we will pick a time and place to meet that morning in Disney.

We are planning on being there, but it will be after work Friday or early Saturday morning and staying the night into Sunday.

Rock General is right lets start the year out right and get together and wheel one of the best parks in Oklahoma in my opinion. The have something for EVERY type of Jeep or 4X4 or Rock Crawler. It is allot of fun there.

Like i said before this is the first OJT club event of the year, so lets make it one of the best.

PS I Beleive there is only about three places to wheel in Oklahoma (Legally) and this is definatly the best

I'm new to the club, so this will be my first with you guys. I'm really looking forward to it!! I told my 5 year old daughter about it and everytime we go somewhere in my jeep she asks if we're going 4 wheeln. So I'm pretty sure she's excited also. Anyway we'll see you all there. :applaudit:  :driving:
