Trails marked and ready to cut at SMORR....

Hey everyone. We have got about four trails ready to be cut for stockers to mod stockers
They are well marked with blue ribbon. We walked these to mark and believethey
are good lines but if you see an easier or better line feel free to deviate from the marked path.

When coming please post so i can get a count.

Remeber if you come cut trails for a day you will recieve a 2 day free wheeling pass.

BumbleBee and I are trying to schedule some weekends to get there.  I'm in trailbuild withdrawals big time.  We had a blast building trails for Camp Jeep 2002, as well as at the Bison Ranch (and a few other places...)

I would like to come out on Saturday.  Let me know what sort of things we (two of us) would need to bring.  I may be able to get a hold of a chainsaw and some lopers.

Also, I checked the website, but the directions were somewhat vague.  I could not find a HWY K on google maps, only a HWY 3.  We will be coming from Springfield, so directions from 60 would be best.  How long does it take to get out there?

Hi Jeff. Loppers, chainsaw and a strong back :biggrin:  is all you will need.
If you will take 60 east to seymour, turn right or south on K hwy. It will weave through seymour and were 5-6 miles down k and the entrance will be on the right.

I would be willing to come out and help cut trails sometime too. We should try and get a group organized to come out on a designated weekend, that way a lot of progress could be made all at once.

I am pretty sure the club voted to come out the second weekend of everymonth till the Jeep Jamboree to cut trails. Mabye someone should have made a post saying that?

We will have it on the event calendar that will come out in the Dec newsletter. Derek said at the meeting that we should designate one weekend a month at least to cutting trails.

I beleive we have Jan 14th 2006 as a club trail build weekend.
