Title: Synthetic Oil??????

Is anyone in the club using synthetic oil in their Jeep.

I am at about 80,000 and thought it might be a good time to switch.

Anyone have thoughts about this?

I use valvoline full synthetic, I thought it would work well for the high revs that I sometimes do.  You will not want to use it if you have any oil leaks now, they will get worse.

I dont know how a person could really say if they loved it or not, but my oil has stayed very clean, although I have used it since I built the motor about 1 1/2 years ago.

May view ... simply not worth the extra cost.  Been wheelin' since the 60's ... Reg' oil works just fine, dust gets into both.  :ahhhhh:
