Trail near Fort Leonard Wood
« on: 09/26/07 - 10:16AM »
Does anyone know of any Jeep trails near Fort Leonard Wood/Waynesville? On a website I saw a marker, it looks like it is off 17 south of Ft Wood:

Here is the link below, it is the marker below the "Missouri" and "44" anyone know what this is? I am too cheap to subscribe to that trail guide.

as far as i know, there arent any trails near ft wood.

we used to be able to run the tank trails and hummer trails, but the base has restricted that.

the closest places to wheel are salem , seymour, and fulton.

there is also some property near me that i am trying to get set up for wheeling.

Army Cop I tried pming you will the site change was happening, not sue you got it.  I am stationed at Wood, I am an Instuctor out at CDTF.  I live out the backgate and there are quite a few Foresty trails out here.  From what I could tell from your link that map probably showing Flat and Nasty.  Let me know if you are looking for someone in the area to wheel with.  Some times I drive my jeep to work, it is a blue tj on 35s with a warm winch.
