I am puting in a ford 9. I am going to run 35 inch tires. For now the front will be the dana 30, until I can build a dana 44. Do I want to run 4.56 or 4.86 gears?? the 9 will get a Detroit locker. lets hear the input

What transmission are you running? Jeep daily driver or weekend warrior?

With that combo I'd stick with 4.56's personally. With the auto you won't feel the reduction difference between the 2 on the trail and i'd rather turn a few less rpms on the highway.
