CJ and YJ Swing tire bumper work on my XJ?

I want to have a swing style bumper over my stock one much like the Wranglers do. But I was looking and to get one for just for my XJ is around 200 bucks, so i was wandering if I could make a CJ or a YJ one fit?

Normally they are too narrow for the XJ.  Your rear hatch won't open with the hinge in the way.  The hinge will have to be behind the tail light.

You "could" but for 200 - just buy one.  Or is it 200 more.
