Rebuilding a Winch

Any advice on rebuilding a Smittybilt XRC8000, I pulled it out of a Junkyard while I was at work. I'm fairly good at welding and Fabbing anything up I need.  Has anyone had to help redo the casings or anything else?

I've had a couple apart, as cheap as smittys are I bought a new one.
