Nutsert insert tool
« on: 08/30/10 - 08:06PM »
Does anyone know where I can get one of these tools in 417-land? Or have one I could use to install nutserts for my sidesteps? I have oem steps and the nutserts (yes, i should get rockers, but these were $150 less) ,but I can't get the nutserts to compress enough to not spin once they are in the frame.

I think this is what I need - http://www.harborfreight.com/45-piece-threaded-insert-riveter-kit-1210.html

I tried this, but haven't had much luck (or not enough skills)

Any suggestions on getting one locally? Or are they going to be way more $$$?
