Will we EVER see a new truck production???

I've been waiting for years after selling my '88 Comanche p/u, I now have a '98 Wrangler that is always a joy to drive. Will Jeep EVER come out with a new line of truck old school J10 style, preferably a step side????
C'mon Dyamler/Chrysler get up to speed & stop offering road hog & soccer mom vehicles! Bring back the good 'ol standard pickup!

Now that Jeep is essentially it's own company again (an LLC even) it's more likely.

I think the JK will be a great platform for it and some already exist just not here in the US.  I think a 2 door truck or SUT based on the JK woudl do well to compete for the Colorado/Canyon market share.

Such as this thing which is based on an egyptian military vehicle I believe.

Yeah, I'd say you're right. That's the JT concept truck I read about awhile back, I like the idea but overall it's fairly small & the "useful load" of the bed is tiny which also is where the spare tire is kept, but I guess it's a start. I know it'd go over BIG if the J10 series version were to be brought back into production.

I dig those, but I think it's to cool for anyone to actually produce it.  If the public got something like that it would be a very watered down version.

No beadlocks, no locking hubs, no dana 60's.

The badass Rescue turned into the 4dr JK.  Nice Jeep, just not a 1-ton chassis'd oil burning Super Jeep.

Pretty cool. I guess I'm just "stuck" on the looks of the old classic J10 series,...... but I'm not gonna piss & moan!
