31" tire question

I was looking at trying to get an extra set for off roading only. I would switch out. My jeep is still stock so I think this is as big as I can go. I have found a few fore sale, but they are like only 4 ply, this is not good is it? Don't I want like 8 ply or better? Also, if anyone has some 31's on wheels I am interested.

Most 31's out there are 4-6 ply.  To step up to 8+ you are going to have to get sometheing like a super swamper SX or change to a larger wheel diameter like 16-18".
