I want to put new shocks on the Cj now that it is SOA. Do i order shock for zero lift or for the lift height I got from doing the SOA??

Your best bet is to cycle the supension and measure the length you need at full compression as well as full droop. Then order a set to fit those specifications.
Does the bottom of your shock attach to the spring plate?

It would be best to stretch out the flex and measure for what you need. You could go through a lot of shocks getting the correct extended length and compressed length.

yes the bottom of the shock does mount to the spring plate. that is what I figure I would have to do. Thanks for the support.

IF I remember correctly a shock for 4" kit will be close to correct length. Leaving you like 3-4" of compression before it bottomed out. Measuring would be your best bet though.
