Sway Bar

do I need the sway bar on my cj. I have been told that it is not need, like it is on the newer tj's
8 cj 7 SOA on 35 bfg muds

Not "needed" like it is on a coil sprung rig.  I don't run one but I also don't expect a SOA jeep to handle like a  normal rig.  If you are ok with how it drives without one then go without.  If you feel like you have to much body roll then put one back on.

Some CJ's didn't come with anti-swaybars.  Mine didn't.  If your springs are stiff enough, you won't get the body roll around corners much.  I have very worn out soft springs and I lean very badly around corners.  John Lloyd removes anti-swaybars when he does SOA conversions.

I didn't run one on my SOA CJ, or my last SOA YJ, and I won't be running one on the YJ i'm building that will be SOA.

I can not figure out how to post pics. I have tried a couple of times when I have a posted for sale items and can never seem to get it to work.Db
