JEEP NOT RUNNING

WE HAVE A 78 CJ 7 THAT DIES WHEN IT HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND WONT START BACK UP TILL IT COOLS DOWN, HERE IS WHAT WE'VE DONE TO IT, WE HAVE REPLACED SPARK PLUGS, DISTRIBUTOR CAP, THE IGNITION MODULE, THE COILS, AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE HELPING, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR US. THANKS

Might try changing the fuel filter, & cleaning out the return, it might be vapor locking.

i forogt to mention that we had replaced the fuel filter also

what do we need to do to clean out the return

have you check the bolts on the intake that hold the carb on make sure they are tight.I had a truck do the same thing the bolts were lose after that no problems.

what carb are you running?  i had a carter on my 79Cj that was a nightmare.  you could tune it off the first cold start run all day just don't let it cool down.  on the next cold start you had to re-tune it.
STEP 1: BUILD IT
STEP 2: BREAK IT
STEP 3: REPEAT
