2000+ TJ serpentine belt tensioner

Howdy all, I'm still alive!

Question for those who've been down this road before me.  I need to change the S-belt on my '01 and according to the FSM that means the auto-tensioner should 'swing away'.  What are your recommendations for accomplishing this?  That spring is STOUT!

Thanks!

you put a 1/2 drive ratchet on it (no socket, the 1/2 drive will fit in it perfectly) and loosen the tension, pull the old belt off and put the new one on.. takes 2 minutes or less... it's super easy.
EVERY NORMAL MAN MUST BE TEMPTED AT TIMES TO SPIT ON HIS HANDS, HOIST THE BLACK FLAG, AND BEGIN SLITTING THROATS.
