Deep Question about Purchases
« on: 11/11/12 - 07:47PM »
So we often discuss what we would like to buy or what our favorite mod has been.  For those of us that have done this for a while, and started with out guidance here is a tough question to answer.

What is the worst purchase you made or mod you performed?

I'll admit I've made some dumb moves, so this one will take me a bit to answer....

I know someone else that would say the same thing.

I'm thinking every automatic trans shifter I've put in a jeep.... should find one designed for what we do not a hot rod shifter.

I have a Lokar and I really like it!

Had an Art Carr and hated it...

I got my Lokar wet and muddy a few times and the reverse/park button stuck down I didn't have to do any grinding.

I wanted a lift on my yj and had a 3" body lift done. I always regretted not getting a suspension lift. My biggest blunder was dropping cash to put a new engine in it....another 4cyl. :(

I had Bushwacker flares on my first Cherokee, that was a big waste of money. Apparently I drove by feel back then because they didn't last three trips after that it was just broken pieces of plastic hanging off my Jeep.
